Mission
Prepare the whole organisation for a cyber crisis.
Connect knowledge, technology, procedures and leadership to develop a coordinated response capability focused on business continuity.
About us
CyberUP Institute
CyberUP Institute prepares complex organisations to manage a cyber crisis when technology, people, processes and decisions must work together under pressure.
Preparing the response. The whole organisation.
Why CyberUP was created
CyberUP grew from an observation shaped by ReputationUP Group’s experience: even organisations with strong technical protection can be unprepared when a cyber incident becomes an operational, leadership and reputational crisis.
Crisis management brings operations, leadership, legal considerations, communications, reputation and business into the same picture. Understanding what happens to systems is only part of the challenge. The organisation must also be able to respond.
CyberUP applies this perspective to preparation, bringing cybersecurity, crisis management and simulation together in a Cyber Crisis Readiness model.

Mission & Vision
Readiness as an organisational capability.
Mission
Connect knowledge, technology, procedures and leadership to develop a coordinated response capability focused on business continuity.
Vision
A capability that can be exercised, observed, improved and embedded in how the organisation manages risk.

Our focus
Technology-driven.
People-centred.
Preparation has value when skills, procedures and decisions work together.
Every organisation has different infrastructure, people, dependencies, responsibilities and risks. CyberUP therefore builds programmes around the client’s operational reality.
Mission, environment, roles, critical processes and risk profile shape the programme’s objectives and scope.
Cyber, IT, OT, leadership, Operations, Legal and Communications work on the points where a crisis requires a shared response.
Scenarios reveal how people and procedures perform under pressure, not just what participants can explain.
Exercise evidence helps identify gaps and priorities to address and test in subsequent activities.
Understand the context and starting level of preparedness.
Exercise the response in controlled scenarios.
Observe actions, decisions and coordination.
Set and test improvement priorities.
Expertise
Cyber defence, crisis management, decision-making and business continuity all contribute to readiness. Their value comes from working together, not from any single specialism.
Detection, incident response and threat hunting: technical capabilities for building and sharing the evidence needed to respond.
Cyber / SOC / Incident Response↗Systems, control environments and process dependencies: connect the technical picture to the conditions in which the organisation must operate.
Technical and operational readiness↗Decision-making, escalation and crisis governance: exercise coordination between the functions involved.
Executive & Crisis Management↗Business continuity, legal considerations, communications and reputation: assess the impact against business and stakeholder priorities.
The programme involves the roles and responsibilities relevant to the context.
Group and ecosystem
Distinct origins and contributions.
CyberUP operates within an ecosystem that combines international crisis management experience with specialist technology expertise.
ReputationUP Group
The relationship with the Group is central to CyberUP’s identity: understanding a cyberattack as an operational, leadership, legal, communications and reputational event as well as a technical one.
Technology ecosystem
Technology, integration and specialist expertise support exercise environments and programmes according to project needs.
The team
Complementary expertise.
CyberUP brings together expertise in cybersecurity, operations, governance and crisis management. The value lies not in the sum of these specialisms, but in their ability to work together.
The CyberUP profile brings together cybersecurity professionals with private-sector and military experience. Technical expertise, operational capability and crisis governance contribute to the team’s work.
The international experience described spans Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East: different contexts that require an understanding of mission, responsibilities and priorities before a programme is designed.

The quality of the response also depends on how specialisms work together. Operational and technical coordination connects each contribution to the programme’s objectives.
Let’s talk
Cybersecurity protects the organisation. Cyber Crisis Readiness tests its ability to act when the pressure is real.
For enterprises, critical infrastructure operators, institutions and large organisations.
