Cyber / SOC / IR
Analysis and technical response.
Security teams practising detection, investigation, containment and coordination.
Training Arena / Access capability
Hands-on cyber range training for technical teams, executives and organisational functions, using CyberUP’s IT/OT environments in person or remotely. Exercises use the Arena’s systems and scenarios, not a dedicated replica of the client’s infrastructure.
One arena · multiple access modes
An access model for organisations that want to develop readiness without installing a dedicated Arena. The environment, scenarios and support are used according to the agreed programme.
CyberUP environment
Generic IT / OT / ICS systems. The programme is tailored to roles and objectives; the environment does not replicate the client’s infrastructure.
Sessions in CyberUP’s physical environments.
Participation in available scenarios through controlled access.

Ways to participate
Exercises, simulations and demonstrations use the Arena's systems and devices. Session format, participants and availability are agreed with CyberUP.
A controlled connection gives participants access to the Arena's available environments. Access requirements and activities are defined around the programme.
The two modes can be combined for preparation, exercises, debriefs and re-testing, according to the objectives and roles involved.
The environment belongs to CyberUP. Training Arena uses generic IT / OT / ICS systems. The programme adapts to roles and objectives, but it is not a dedicated replica of the client’s infrastructure.
Capability development
Knowledge, procedures and responsibilities become observable behaviour under pressure. The programme is designed for the roles involved and the capabilities to be exercised.
Complementary functionsFour participant groups, not four phases. Their level of involvement depends on the exercise.
Cyber / SOC / IR
Security teams practising detection, investigation, containment and coordination.
IT / OT / ICS
Scenarios connecting enterprise and industrial environments with operational responsibilities.
Executive
Leaders and crisis teams exercise priorities, escalation and business continuity.
Workforce
Experiential awareness training and the ability to recognise and report relevant situations.
Controlled simulation
Scenario, operational pressure and observation come together in an exercise. Red, Blue and White Teams have distinct responsibilities; they are not successive phases.
One reference lifecycle for designing, conducting and reviewing the exercise:
Objectives, scope, participants and observation criteria.
The Red Team introduces the events defined for the exercise.
The Blue Team tests its analysis, actions and coordination.
The White Team manages the exercise and gathers evidence.
Debrief, observed gaps and actions for subsequent exercises.
Control throughout the exercise. The White Team oversees every phase; its work does not begin at the fourth step. Duration, intensity and events depend on the scenario.
One capability · multiple missions
The same Arena can support technical exercises, executive activities, procedure testing and demonstrations. Activities take place within the systems available in the CyberUP environment.
Team exercise
SOC, Incident Response, IT and OT teams work through realistic, controlled scenarios.
Executive exercise
Leaders and crisis teams exercise escalation, coordination and continuity priorities.
Testing
Playbooks and handovers of responsibility are tested under exercise conditions.
Demonstration
Demonstration sessions to understand scenarios, architectures and response approaches.
Activities do not involve the client’s production network. Remote access uses controlled connectivity; this is not absolute isolation from networks or external threats.
Access model
Begin with focused exercises and build a progressive programme around roles, capabilities and priorities. Programmes, access modes and availability are agreed with the CyberUP team.
When to choose it
For access to CyberUP simulations, practice for people and procedures, or a closer look at the experience before starting a dedicated Arena project.
